Robert Pattinson Is Definitely Single and Doesn't Know What Girls See in Edward Cullen.

August 6th, 2009 by Kayda Norman

Robert Pattinson says he is single and not, repeat, not dating his co-star Kristin Stewart.

In an interview with Britian's OK! Magazine, Robert said that he was "young, free and single" and simply "very good friends," with Kristin. We suppose that means he's not dating any of his alleged other girlfriends such as Camilla Belle, Natalie Portman, and New Moon co-star Nikki Reed

But according to Robert, although he thinks his female fans are "awesome" he doesn't believe he has it in him to be a heartthrob.
We beg to differ, Robert. And so do many of his rabid Twilight followers who go to extreme measures to get this hottie's attention. Robert told OK! Magazine:

"One time there were these four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled and then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross!

And don't ask Robert the appeal of his sex symbol alter ego, Edward Cullen.

"Being a guy, you always just look at girls and think, why are you with that guy? With virtually anyone the nice guys always seem to come last, " said Robert (Read: Women Really Do Like Nice Guys). "If Edward wasn't a fictional character and you met him in reality he is like one of those guys who would probably be an axe murderer or something."

Sure, Robert is single now, but with millions of fans worldwide after him, including a host of celebrities, we wonder how long it will be until he gets bitten by the love bug.

So what does it take to win over this Brit? Robert confessed to OK!:

I like people being forward. Gosh, I don’t know. I like strong people, chiselled abs… I don’t know, I take what I can get!

More proof of Rob's eligibility.

Rob says he doesn't see what girls see in Edward? That's kind of old news. He's said that before. But he also said once, that Edward was cool. So I don't think he really knows.

It's really quite simple. Rob like many men don't really understand women, that's what it boils down to. And hey, that's okay. We don't understand men half the time either. LMAO!
