Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson would never consider showing off his musical talents at an open mic night, because he’s too shy.
The British actor is also a keen guitar and piano player and even writes his own songs, two of which appeared on the soundtrack for the vampire movie.
But he has no plans to step on stage anytime soon.
He confesses, "I’m too much of a pussy."

Awww.... Rob c'mon! You need to BELIEVE in yourself sweetie! I heard you sing.
I'll be honest with you. I can't understand the lyrics sometimes, so if anything you just need to stop slurring your words together so much and sing them a little better. You often remind me of a cross between, oh what's that guy's name...Tom Waits, that's him and a little bit of George Thorogood with a dash of Ray Charles. But your style is definitely in there somewhere.
I know I've been critical but I LOVE the tone of your voice. It's amazing, it truly is. So much passion within you.
And the song from Twilight, "Let Me Sign," moves me like I haven't been moved in a long time. It's just that one little thing babe. Just sing the lyrics a little clearer.
I am not into the blues very much I admit it, but I do listen now and again and I often wonder what it would be like to hear you sing a contemporary song. I think you could do it and should.
Geesh! I've went off my rocker finally. Talking to Rob like he's really sitting here reading my blog.
But then again, you never know... :)
